Privacy policy

Spoofify is the data controller for personal data collected through spoofify.net, the Spoofify app and the Spoofify Installer. Contact us about privacy at support@spoofify.net.

What we collect and why

  • Name, email, billing country and order details: to sell and deliver your plan, send receipts and handle support (contract, GDPR art. 6(1)(b)). Kept for 5 years after the purchase year, as the Danish Bookkeeping Act requires.
  • Payment details: handled by our payment provider; we never see your full card number.
  • Your customer account: email and login details so you can see orders and manage your subscription (contract). Kept until you delete your account.
  • Licence code and the device it is activated on: so each code works on one iPhone (contract). Kept while your plan is active, plus 12 months.
  • Email you enter to receive the download link: to send you the installer link (your request). Kept 30 days.
  • Support emails and cancellation requests: to answer you and to prove when we received a request (contract and legal obligation). Kept up to 5 years.
  • Technical data (IP address, browser) when you visit the site: to run the store securely (legitimate interest, art. 6(1)(f)).

Your locations stay on your devices. The locations you set in Spoofify are sent from your computer or phone to your iPhone. We do not receive, store or sell them.

Your Apple ID stays with Apple. The Spoofify Installer uses your Apple ID only to sign the app on your own computer. Your Apple ID password is sent directly to Apple and never to us.

We never sell your personal data or use it for advertising profiles.

Who we share data with

  • Shopify (store, checkout, accounts, order emails), Shopify International Ltd., Ireland. Some data may be transferred to Canada and the USA under EU adequacy decisions and Standard Contractual Clauses.
  • Our payment provider, which processes your payment.
  • Supabase (licence codes and the download-link email), Supabase Inc., USA, under Standard Contractual Clauses.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to receive it in a portable format, to restrict its use, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Email support@spoofify.net; we answer within one month. Some data, such as bookkeeping records, we must keep by law.

You can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, datatilsynet.dk.

Cookies

spoofify.net uses cookies, small files stored in your browser.

  • Necessary cookies keep your cart, login, checkout and security working. They are always on.
  • Statistics cookies tell us how many people visit and which pages they use. They are set only if you accept them.
  • Marketing cookies measure whether our ads work. They are set only if you accept them.

You can change your choice at any time with the cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.

Children

Spoofify is not intended for children under 15. We do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

We post any changes here and update the date at the top. If a change materially affects you, we will email you.
